Simba Farm Lodge is an active farm consisting of 7000 hectares of land located west of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The farm’s hills offer spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru and the Maasai Steps.
Since 1981 Simba Farm Lodge has been in the hands of the Bruinsma family. Apart from welcoming guests, food is grown on site, to be sold on Tanzanian markets or to be exported abroad. At Simba Farm Lodge you look out over the wheat paddies. Whilst staying at Simba Farm Lodge, you can also have a taste of the harvest in the form of delicious fresh breads and pastries.
Simba Farm Lodge offers various types of accommodation. Such as the charming traditional rooms in the Old Guest House, but also the new Jacaranda Cottages which are ideal for a family holiday. The Old Guest House built in 1920 has 5 bedrooms with a cosy atmosphere, a living room and a large veranda. Some of these rooms have a shared bathroom. Perfect for larger groups of guests.
